Things got sticky for some drivers in Scottsbluff earlier this morning.
Around 9:30 a.m., a truck spilled hot asphalt on a stretch of South Beltline.
Scottsbluff police respond to divert oncoming traffic until a clean up crew could arrive. There was an approximate two-hundred foot stretch of existing road that was covered in the newer, sticky asphalt.
Workers with Simon Contractors arrived with a pay-loader shortly after to scrape up the mess.
There is no word on who was responsible for the initial spill.
