Panhandle community members will soon get an update about what's going on in the valley and why some projects are being delayed
Scottsbluff, Gering and Terrytown leaders will address the community tomorrow in the annual "state of the valley" presentation.
Scottsbluff Mayor, Randy Meininger says he will talk about why some projects are behind schedule, like the Downtown Revitalization project and the proposed 5th Avenue underpass.
Meininger says, "We want to make sure everybody's aware of what's going on out there. It's important for our community to hear that from the leaders because if they're not hearing information they're making it up in a coffee shop somewhere."
Meininger says the meeting is all about city leaders being transparent and keeping the community informed about what's going on in the valley.
