Panhandle community members chime in on how city leaders can break through road blocks and get projects done.
Scottsbluff, Gering, Terrytown and Scottsbluff County leaders all gathered today for the State of the Valley meeting.
Each of the cities presented information about different projects that are delayed because of regulations, unfunded mandates or environmental studies.
Scottsbluff Mayor Randy Meininger says the city leaders really look forward to getting community on the issues. "I really look at it that the leaders need to plant some seeds, give some ideas, paint the vision and then the communities help us get to that vision"
Local business leaders and law enforcement also showed up to voice their opinions.
