Scottsbluff Public School Administrators are one step closer to moving into their new office.
Construction on the 1st avenue office building in Scottsbluff should be complete by October 22nd.
The move into the new office will make-way for an alternative high school program and 4 additional elementary classrooms in the old administration building.
Scottsbluff Public Schools, Director of Finance, Lavon Hood says, "We're looking forward to the move over there and the primary reason is just the opportunity that opens up for the district to be able to utilize this building we're in today as part of an optional high school program."
School administrators say the first half of the elementary classroom renovations will be done by the end of this year and the rest of the remodeling will be finished by next school year.
