The presidential candidates haven't even had their first debate but already, Scottsbluff voters are preparing to cast their votes.
Early voting begins next week.
Scottsbluff County Clerk, Vera Dulaney says you can apply for an early ballot at the clerk's office or by mail.
Dulaney says a lot of people prefer to vote early so they don't have to stand in line. "People like it because first of all they're anxious to vote. We have some dedicated voters in Scottsbluff County but they like it because it's convenient for them."
The last day to register to vote in the election is October 26th.
If you haven't registered, you can stop by the county clerks office or pick up a registration application at the local post office.
