Some lucky livestock have a new home in Nebraska.
Today rang in Kimball and Banner counties' livestock welcoming.
The cities are now designated as livestock friendly.
A meeting at the Kimball County Fairgrounds brought the city out to celebrate a new step for they're economy.
Governor Heineman says this decision was vital for the cities.
"It's very, very important because agriculture is the number one industry in this state. And they've taken a very positive step forward to let everybody know they're open for business. They want to expand agriculture opportunities in this state and we're very very proud of them."
Heineman says livestock brings in big revenue for Kimball's economy.
