While the sunflower harvest is suffering, Nebraska's corn harvest is nearing completion.
And with it comes a reminder from State Patrol, to be cautious on the road.
The harvest brings an increase of agriculture equipment on the roads.
Ag drivers usually drive at slower speeds and have limited visibility.
"They don't all have turn signals. You don't always know when they're going to turn. It's illegal to pass at intersections so don't, and just be really careful. Those trucks, it takes them a long distance to get stopped."
Sheriff Overman says ag drivers should use the shoulder lane when possible, and to be cautious of cars trying to pass.
