A statewide poll shows over all, Nebraskan's approve of the keystone pipeline.
The University of Nebraksa at Lincoln's poll shows a 65% approval from rural Nebraskans, but only if it doesn't cross the sand hills and the aquifer.
The smaller Keystone pipeline began operating two years ago across the eastern part of Nebraska.
The new Keystone pipeline is a crude oil line 36 inches in diameter.
It will cross some parts of the Ogallala Aquifer.
The project will avoid the Sand Hills area.
