Homecoming festivities are in full swing at Scottsbluff High School.
Candidates for homecoming royalty were announced to the student body today.
Votes were cast and the winners will be announced during Thursday's "super rally" at Bearcat Stadium.
Tomorrow, homecoming festivities will continue in downtown Scottsbluff with a homecoming parade.
Student Senate sponsor Linda Meininger hopes for plenty of community support this week.
"Well I think its important to have big community involvement because in turn it gets our kids involved. It's kind of like a trickle down effect, and like to see everybody come. We usually have a good selection of parents come to the super rally, so that's always nice too."
Bearcat pride is strong right now; as the high school football team is ranked number two in the state for division two schools.
