Two Nebraska Senate hopefuls go head-to-head on the key issues in their 2nd of 3 debates before election day.
U.S. Senate candidates Republican Deb Fischer and Democrat Bob Kerrey debate on their difference of opinion on issues such as healthcare, tax reform, energy plans and the national debt.
One thing both candidates do agree on is that Washington is not doing a good job.
Fischer says, "There is gridlock. We do need to reform Washington. Nebraskan's know and they don't like the way Washington does business because nothing is happening."
Another hot topic was whether abortions should be regulated by the government.
Fischer expressed that she is pro-life and Kerrey says it's none of the governments business. "I don't think we should regulate women in making this decision. I think the government should stay out of it."
The candidates will debate for the 3rd and final time Monday in Lincoln.
