Kamakazee Klub R.C. air show

Posted: Updated:

If you were driving by Kimball today you may have noticed something in the sky.

It was planes flying over the city, but not your typical planes.

The Kimball Kamakazee Klub holds the remote control air show each year for the Farmers Day celebration.

The show usually brings anywhere from 70 to 100 visitors.

The free show features planes and pilots from Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado.

Rick kirby, the Event Coordinator says there's something for everyone.

"We have war-birds, we have sport planes and we have helicopters. So, a little bit of everything."

Kirby says some pilots fly their real planes to Kimball's airport to catch the show.
