NSP nabs registered sex offender for trying to have sex with 13-year-old

A convicted sex offender back behind bars after arranging to have sex a 13-year-old "girl".

24-year-old Matthew Crable was arrested on Friday for child enticement after sending lewd and sexual text messages to the girl. However, that 13-year-old girl was actually an undercover investigator with the Nebraska State Patrol.

Crable was arrested when he arrived at the designated meeting spot.

Last year, Crable pled no contest to attempted sexual assault of a child after having consensual sex with a 15-year-old.

Online court records do not show a listing for Crable's first court appearance.
