Sex offender gets more charges filed against him

A convicted sex offender from Bayard faces new charges after trying to solicit sex from an undercover officer.

24-year-old Matthew Crable is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography. Those charges are in addition to a child enticement charge filed Friday in Scotts Bluff County Court.

Crable was arrested after arranging a sexual encounter with a 13-year-old girl, who turned out to be a Nebraska State Patrol investigator.

An October 18th hearing is scheduled in Scotts Bluff County Court.
