We're only a couple of weeks into fall, but the snow is flying already.
People in the Panhandle woke up to a blanket of the fluffy white stuff, a big change from the hot September temps just a few weeks ago.
Despite the fact that we're only in the first week of October, locals say they're taking it in stride.
"I enjoy snow. I have a snow plow that I use to do commercial snow removal and I'm ready to get it out and play in the snow."
"I'm ready, yeah, it's time, we need a little moisture so we can sure use this."
As always be careful when driving. Low visibility and slick roads can make for some treacherous conditions.
