Midwest Theater granted funds for Community Cinema Series

The Community Cinema series is here to stay for the 2012–2013 season.

The Midwest Theater has received a $15,000 grant from the Nebraska Humanities Council to continue the project.

For the third year the humanities council will help fund the Community Cinema Series.

The series features ten free community cinema documentary films throughout the year.

The cinema project doesn't limit people to just watching documentaries, there will be guest speakers and information for viewers as well.

The series starts this month and will go through June of 2013.
