Nebraska lawmakers are aiming to include agriculture education in the classroom.

Agriculture education is back on the political agenda in Nebraska.

Last year Senator Kate Sullivan proposed an agriculture literacy task force to get the job done, but the bill never came into place.

Now lawmakers are exploring options to include ag–education into K-12 classroom lessons.

Agriculture is the state's largest industry.
