Members of Scottsbluff High School's DECA team teamed up with Fremont motors for a cold but successful event.
The goal for the day was raising $6,000 for the groups 2012–2013 season.
DECA is a national student organization made up of marketing and business students.
Fremont Motors and Ford Motor Company donated $20.00 to the Scottsbluff DECA program for each test drive someone took.
The test drives were free and people came by to try out the cars, the seat–heaters and to support the school.
Members of the program weren't letting the cold weather get in the way of they're goal.
"We do a state competition in Lincoln and then we also have a competition in Anaheim. And it helps fund for all the fees, and airline tickets and that stuff."
Members say they're excited for the big–trip to nationals.
