The weather didn't stop Gering from celebrating Family Fun Day.
The event was hosted by the Gering Kiwanis at the Farm and Ranch Museum.
Kiwanis is a group that raises money for children's-projects in the community.
Families showed up for pie games and dry-bean art.
Group president Peg Deines says this year's event was free and open to everyone.
"We really enjoy having family come out here together, grandparents, kids, families, just doing pumpkin painting and games."
Deines says they still have plenty of pumpkins for sale at the Farm and Ranch Museum.
