The Thiele Pharmacy will have a new name and location soon.
Owner Charles Lierck announced the pharmacy is being sold to Safeway.
The pharmacy will be relocated to the Safeway grocery store in Alliance on December 5th.
Several of the current staff members will be employed by Safeway.
Lierck says Safeway has expressed interest in the pharmacy before the June 12th standoff at the store, where an Alliance man was shot and killed by police.
The pharmacy will continue it's operations at 2307 Box Butte Avenue until December 4th.
