Racers got the chance to size up the competition today, one day before the big race.
Participants showed up at Western Nebraska Community College to receive their registration and visit with local sponsors.
The marathon has been in the works for more than a year.
There are more than 400 people from at least 25 states running in this year's marathon.
William Weiber and Dale Wallien want everyone to come cheer on the runners!
"I guarantee you know somebody who knows somebody out there running. With a 26.2 or 13.1 miles they're gonna need all the inspiration that they can get and bring some cowbells!"
