Lawmakers have scheduled a hearing to study whether Nebraska is effectively delivering Medicaid services, food stamps, and other public benefits.
The Legislature's Health and Human Services Committee will meet Tuesday to hear from people who use ACCESS Nebraska.
ACCESS Nebraska is a state service that helps people apply for and renew their public benefits.
Lawmakers voted in March to restore ACCESS Nebraska's in-person services that had been previously cut.
The hearing stems from a legislative study by Lincoln Senator Danielle Conrad.
