Members of the Scottsbluff School Board met today to introduce a plan to directly help students.
It's a detailed report with a simple solution, to increase student achievement.
School Administrators discussed school lunches, bullying programs and other opportunities to help students.
Superintendent Rick Miles says he believes this program is a step in the right direction for students across the board.
"This really should get to the heart of what the work is and also reflect more, I think, what the community is looking for in schools."
Miles also calls this plan a work in progress.
He says changes will continue to take place throughout the year.
