Some college volunteers are hitting the streets of Chadron to help raise money for school programs.
The Chadron State annual Fall fundraising effort is under way.
The Chadron State Foundation provided more than one million dollars in campus support last year, hitting an all time high.
This month more than 100 volunteers, including C.S.C employees and community members will raise money through Halloween to benefit school programs and scholarships.
Last year's volunteers raised more than $200,000 for the campaign.
The foundation's director says volunteers hope to raise the same amount this year.
