A local author is publishing his own Christmas book, with charity in mind.
Author Brent Anderson loves telling his kids stories.
But one day that love turned into something more, he wanted to write a short Christmas story for his kids.
The short story turned into a full length book and Anderson ended up self publishing.
"Wee Three Kings" is a tale of three ceramic kings who come to life at night.
To go along with the three kings theme Anderson has teamed up with three charities, SHOW hope, The Way - by Croation Relief Services and Cirrus House Inc.
In the month of November all of the proceeds from the book will go to the three charities.
Anderson says the book has been great for the family.
"We actually home school, so the book's really been a family project. As a matter of fact there's 10 internal artwork pictures and each one of my three children have a piece that they drew that's in the book."
