Strong winds weren't the only thing rattling people last night. So did an earthquake.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a magnitude 3.6 earthquake shook things up around eleven last night.
It was centered about 18 miles northwest of Hyannis. Some people in Grant County say they felt and were woken up by the quake.
While Nebraska experienced two small earthquakes last November, state geologists says it's not a common event.
No injuries or damage has been reported.
