Western Nebraska Community College is holding its annual breast cancer awareness night, and the WNCC volleyball team wants fans to "think pink."
The college will sell t-shirts for 10-dollars at tonight's 7 o'clock match, and all proceeds go to the "Festival of Hope."
The college also encourages men and women to wear pink to *all* of the local sporting events tonight to show their support.
WNCC math instructor Amy Winters says she started the event because breast cancer hits close to home.
"I think a lot of people think just older people get breast cancer, or just women," explains Winters. "I was diagnosed fairly young, so that's kind of why we started doing the event here."
Winters says they'll also be spray painting hair pink at the volleyball game. Governor Dave Heineman will also be in attendance tonight... but no word if he will be spraying his hair to help the cause.
