A KOTA Territory theater is making it easier for families with special needs to come watch movies together.
The Midwest Theater in Scottsbluff understands sometimes it's hard or uncomfortable for families with special needs children to attend movies together.
The theater's "Reel Films for Real Families" is a program for families with special circumstances who don't typically attend movies.
Families are able to enjoy the movies in a more open environment, with the lights brought up and the sound turned down.
"It's one of the quintessential childhood memories that we have growing up. You know going to the movies with mom and dad, and having that outing like every other kid gets to have."
Tomorrow afternoon they will show "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" at 1:30 p.m.
