Nebraskan cattle population sets new record

Nebraska's cattle population is on track to set another new monthly record.

Cattle in Nebraska feedlots grew by 5 % in October.

The US Department of Agriculture says the 2.3 million cattle in Nebraska feedlots is the highest since 1994.

Nationwide, the number was near 11 million, down 3 % since this time last year.
