Rural Nebraska getting better access to breast cancer treatment

Women living in rural Nebraska will soon have better access for breast cancer care thanks to a 3.5 million dollar grant.

The grant will help the Northern Great Plains Personalized Breast Cancer Program.

The program helps doctors identify patterns in breast cancer patients.

This allows doctors to develop more personalized treatments.

The program includes more than 300 health care locations across the region.
