Miss Chadron and Miss Western Nebraska crowned

Two young women now have the chance to compete for the Miss Nebraska title.

Winners were crowned in Sunday's Miss Chadron/Miss Northwest Nebraska Scholarship Pageants.

Meghan Thalken won Miss Chadron while Megan Dimmett took home the Miss Northwest title.

Each received one year of free tuition from Chadron State College.

Both girls will advance to the Miss Nebraska Pageant next June.
