Nine people arrested on Friday in a major meth bust make their initial appearance in Scotts Bluff County Court.
The arrests come after a five-month long investigation by the WING-Drug Task Force.
These first eight individuals are all charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine. They are:
47-year-old Telesforo Alvarado of Gering, 35-year-old James Johnson of Scottsbluff, 50-year-old Mark Beecher of Scottsbluff, 23-year-old Johnny Horn of Bayard, 28-year-old Amanda LeMay of Gering, 29-year-old Brooke Schaneman of Mitchell, and 40-year-old Lorinda Urbaetis of Scottsbluff.
Flores also faces one count of possession with intent to distribute pharmaceuticals, and Horn faces one count of theft by receiving stolen property over $1500.
36-year-old Shawn Stacy of Scottsbluff is facing a single count of distribution of methamphetamine.
WING Drug Task Force Commander Dana Korell says more arrests are expected in this investigation.
