After eight years Gering is hosting the annual Nebraska Travel Conference.
More than one hundred people registered for the conference.
This year's theme is Drive into Gering centering on a love of classic cars and the town's main attractions.
The Tourism Industry gets together for the annual conference, to get educated on how to grow business and keep travelers coming to Nebraska.
Conference Planner Michael Collins says it's a pleasure to be a part of the event.
"It's education, is the main thing also like I said networking and getting together. We have a huge event the city of Gering has done a great job hosting the travel conference."
