State Patrol employees of the month recognized

State Patrol handed out awards to their hard working troops.

Employees, supervisors and managers of the year were announced this week at the Nebraska State Capitol.

Sergeant Monty Lovelace was among those honored.

Lovelace is an 11 year agency veteran with Troop E in Scottsbluff.

He's assigned to the Investigative Services Division and won the award for his hard work, completing more than 30 new cases.

A reception following the ceremony was held at Governor Heinemann's residence.
