Gering golf course looking for new operator

The Gering Monument Shadows Golf Course's restaurant is in the market for a new operator again.

A Las Vegas woman, Natasha Formby was initially the preferred applicant to be the new operator.

Formby's father Emmett was helping her with the negotiations earlier this month, and says the golf course lacked a response.

Emmett Formby says they sent a response to the city's initial contract offer on October 5th and haven't gotten a response since.

The Forbes say they've decided they no longer want to be a partner of the organization.
