Accident closes a part of 5th Ave.

You may have noticed a big accident at the 5th Avenue and Highway 26 intersection.

Last evening at one of the Scottsbluff's biggest intersections there were two consecutive accidents closing down parts of 5th Avenue.

The first accident happened when a car was clipped by another small vehicle, then a small car and a semi collided trying to avoid the accident.

There were no serious injuries.

5th Avenue is open and clear of wreckage tonight.
