Who says pumpkins are just for food and carving?
Turns out, it's fun to roll them down a hill.
The Wildcat Hills Nature Center held its annual fall festival and pumpkin rolling contest.
The most accomplished pumpkin rollers received prizes.
"It's not the typical thing you do with a pumpkin, chuck it down a hill, so it's something a little bit different, a little unique to the area and it's a lot of fun to watch them explode and go down the hill."
Filipi also says the day is great to showcase everything the nature center has to offer, including hiking and biking trails.
