When two organizations get together to raise awareness for a good cause, the results are usually rewarding.
That can be said of the L.U.N.A Theater Company and their partnership with the Doves organization. The two groups have gotten together to produce the play "Poof."
Their mission is to bring forward the issue of domestic violence. Sixty percent of ticket sales are donated to the Doves foundation. Leaders of the group believe the time is now to discuss the issues surrounding domestic violence.
"It was still really good and we appreciate everyone that did come out to see us. I think I've been really excited just to see the impact that it's making on the people that have seen the program and seen the play. It's a fantastic production and I think it's changing lives."
