A local event is drawing rave reviews by promising attendees a hauntingly good time.
The 24th annual "Spooktacular" is currently in full swing. This is the zoo's only fundraiser of the year and the event needs the help of over 200 volunteers to be a success. Families have called it just that. This year the event features a new super scary section, promising that there is something for everybody.
"Last night we had a lot of little toddlers here, it was pretty chilly but they really enjoyed themselves. We have a very spooky section that I see some of the older kids here for tonight. They're gonna get their pants scared off, it's really creepy."
There is still time to see what all the fuss is about. The event runs through Tuesday night.
