Top officials in Nebraska continue to monitor the drought situation.
The entire state is still under drought conditions ranging from "severe" to "exceptional".
Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy says 2012 is a tough year for people in the ag industry.
He says that even though Nebraska benefited from a little bit of moisture over the past few days, it wasn't enough to mitigate the effects of the drought.
"We're continuing to monitor that, but Nebraska's economic conditions continue to be strong, stronger than most other states."
Sheehy and Governor Dave heineman continue to fight for drought relief funding from the federal government.
