A man in Scottsbluff escapes unharmed from a serious accident with a train.
A Burlington Northern Santa Fe Train hit 29 year old Claude Shelby's car at the railroad crossing at County Road 19 and Highway 26 this morning.
Shelby was going North on County Road 19 in a 1993 Ford Explorer when he swerved to miss a deer and his car got stuck on the tracks of the railroad crossing.
The coal train was traveling east when it hit the car but Shelby managed to escape.
Shelby didn't receive any injuries but was cited for no insurance.
