Accident in Gering causes morning delay

A car collision caused a popular Scottsbluff street to shut down today.

An accident on Avenue I near Beltline Highway shut down lanes in both directions momentarily this morning.

Scottsbluff Police Officers say a man driving south bound drifted over the middle line into a woman driving north bound.

Both cars were towed away following the crash.

No major injuries were reported.
