You can still help by volunteering or perhaps even by working with abused and neglected kids.
CASA, which stands for court appointed special advocate, is looking for a new executive director.
The organization's goal is to give abused or neglected children a voice during court proceedings.
The Executive Director oversees the volunteers and fundraising efforts for the group.
"Obviously these children have been through a lot in their young lives, usually already and what our CASA advocates try to do is be that one stable person in their life as they're going through all of this."
The local CASA chapter currently has 16 active volunteers serving over forty children.
