Gering Golf Course advertising for new operator

The Gering Golf Course Restaurant is in the market for a new operator.

Gering is advertising once again after a Las Vegas woman changed her mind about being operator last month.

The woman says she changed her mind because there was a lack of city response to her proposed contract.

Members of the council's Recreation Committee will advertise in a wider area than the past, including promoting to Coloradans and eastern Nebraskans.

The committee hopes to get more than two applicants for proposals.
