Cheyenne county attorney doubling duty

A Cheyenne County Prosecutor now has double duties, handling cases in another county.

Cheyenne County Attorney Paul Schaub will prosecute cases in Deuel County.

His appointment comes after the former prosecutor, Doug Palik, lost his law license.

The court says Palik had mishandled the administration of a woman's estate and lied to cover up his misdeeds.

Two deputy attorneys will help Schaub with the caseload.
