More than 100 Scotts Bluff runners hit the pavement this morning.
The Warrior 5K/10K run and walk kicked off this morning for its forth year.
The race raises money for the Veterans and Military Families Emergency Relief Fund.
The fund makes sure there's a safety net for all Veterans and their families going through tough times.
Brad Van Pelt the run's organizer says we need to make sure these vets have help when they return home.
"Well it's important for us to support our military guys when they come back, as well as when they're over seas. Sometimes they kind of get forgotten and maybe fall through the cracks."
Van Pelt says he's happy to be a part of something that serves the people who are serving our country.
