A local artist teams up with the Humane Society for a unique opportunity that's just in time for the holidays.
For a 90 dollar fee, artist Jenny Berg and the Humane Society will paint a portrait of your furry friend.
Half of the proceeds go back to the Humane Society. Director Cathy McDaniel says the painting makes a great Christmas present.
"It's an outstanding gift to get, but even if you did it for yourself. I mean your pet is immortalized in a beautiful portrait, for ever and ever. I love Jenny Berg's art so I would pay for that in itself."
To get your own painting, drop off 90 dollars along with a picture of your favorite furry friend at the Humane Society by December 21st.
