Handyman program helps elderly with house and yard work

Posted: Updated:

If you are more than 60 years old and need some help with household tasks the Handy man Program can help.

Seniors who request help with household projects are matched with paid qualified independent contractors.

The Handy man program is funded through the state department on aging, title XX funds and contributions from clients.

"Here in Scotts Bluff the program helps them stay in their homes and gives them some pride, you know by staying in their homes. They've worked so hard for it, it's only right."

To get involved with the handy man program you can go to their offices in the Gering county building.
