Santa arrives in Scottsbluff to listen to Christmas wishes

Posted: Updated:

With just 37 days to go until Christmas, Santa is gearing up for the holiday season by making sure everyone has their Christmas lists in.

Kris Kringle is taking it slow before his annual trek around the globe for Christmas.

This morning he arrived at Monument Mall in Scottsbluff to meet with all the good little boys and little girls to see what they wanted.

Some kids told us what they were going to ask for before they had the chance to sit on Santa's lap.

Lyle Hart of Gering is hoping to get a Lego cargo train or a Skylander giant.

Dean and Hugh Heliburn are both hoping for a bike, and Hugh is also asking for a toy motorcycle.

Kesmera Palu from Scottsbluff says she's been a good girl this year and is asking Santa to bring her a new scooter.

Kay Leaonna of Bayard says she's going to ask Santa for a Barbie car, and some Barbie's to go with it, while her sister Anissa is going to ask for some Lego's.

In case you missed Santa today, he will be at center court of Monument Mall each Friday, Saturday and Sunday leading up to Christmas.
