Drought conditions continue to plague the majority of Nebraska.
The University of Nebraska's drought monitor shows no change from a week ago regarding drought conditions.
More than 75 percent of the state remains in 'exceptional' drought ,and no panhandle city has received more than half an inch of precipitation this month.
Reliance from outside sources is dwindling too. UNL Extension Educator Gary Stone says water from the Pathfire Reservoir in Wyoming is well below average.
"Some of the numbers I've heard on the amount of water or the number of days that they can run next year is probably between 22 and 27 days of water run for next year."
Without decent snowpack runoff in the coming months, the availability for irrigation water could be near all-time lows.
