Nebraska to hold healthcare hearing

State lawmakers will examine how the Federal Health Care Law will affect Nebraska and its budget.

Lawmakers will meet tomorrow, the Health and Human Services, as well as the Appropriations Committee will participate in tomorrow's meeting.

The National Conference of State Legislatures will brief lawmakers about the Healthcare Law and Medicaid.

They'll also be studying the long term state savings that may be possible under the law.

Lawmakers will also discuss the new costs the law could bring, along with ways to save money.
